Solar and wind energy landscape with grid connection
SOLAR & WIND / PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

From a site to
a credible project.

A promising site is not yet an investable project. Grid connection, permits, yield, technology, contracts, finance and construction have to share one decision path. SCF coordinates that path within an agreed mandate.

Where projects lose time

Not on the big idea. At unresolved hand-offs.

Land, grid, authorities, specialists, technology suppliers, EPC, capital and the future operator work from different assumptions. SCF brings the open assumptions into one project record and makes the next required decision visible.

  1. LANDUse rights, constraints and access do not yet match.
  2. GRIDConnection point, capacity, timing and metering remain open.
  3. PERMITSApplication readiness, studies and authority dependencies diverge.
  4. CONTRACTScope boundaries, dates, security and acceptance are not clearly allocated.
  5. CAPITALTechnical assumptions and financial modelling use different data versions.
Mandate modules

SCF works in the gap between disciplines.

The exact scope is agreed in writing before work begins. SCF does not replace permitting, tax, engineering or legal specialists; it coordinates their inputs into a decision-ready position.

01

Early review

Objective, site data, ownership and use framework, access, constraints and first grid and schedule assumptions.

02

Project structure

Work packages, responsibilities, decision dates, data room and a shared version of cost, schedule and risk.

03

Grid & permits

Coordination of the grid request, evidence, specialist studies and the relevant wind or solar permitting steps.

04

Procurement & contracts

Technical scope, bidder questions, offer comparison, interfaces, schedule and commercial exceptions.

05

Acquisition support

Structured technical and project review for a potential transaction, with assumptions and missing evidence kept visible.

06

Owner representation

Progress, decisions, changes, quality evidence and acceptance against the agreed control plan.

Project decisions

Each phase ends with a question—not a presentation.

  1. 01

Is the site worth further work?

  2. 02

Is there a credible grid and permitting route?

  3. 03

Are yield, cost, schedule and risk consistent?

  4. 04

Is procurement technically and commercially comparable?

  5. 05

Can construction, commissioning and handover be evidenced?

German project context

Register, grid and permits belong in early planning.

The Bundesnetzagentur records solar and wind installations in the Market Data Register. The relevant network operator handles the connection request, and the required metering is necessary for proper feed-in. Wind projects may also require approval under the Federal Immission Control Act. The applicable route must be assessed for each project.

A controlled first step

Bring the real project position.

Site, technology, intended scale, work completed, grid status, permit status and the next pending decision are enough for a structured first discussion.
